Results are in from the 2008 Keith Nintzel Memorial 5k and this year’s edition was the largest ever. Of the 501 finishers, two former teammates of Keith’s took home top billing. Brian Dalpiaz broke the tape in the men’s race at 15:33 and Lyndsey Webber stopped the clock at 18:00. Both times were course records for the former Sayville High School standouts.

The race was also a great success financially as there were more than 700 participants between the run and walk, many of whom were friends, family or former teammates of Keith’s. The revenue from the entry fees is used to fund a scholarship in Keith’s name at Sayville High School for graduating seniors going to college.
