Petrina at Massapequa Mile in the SRC Singlet
Dearest Sayville Running Company Blog,
My name is Michael Petrina and I am the newest contributor to the Sayville Running blog. I am 24 years old, a Cancer and I like long runs on the beach at sunset. Currently I work as a full time employee at the Sayville Running Company, and as a part time Assistant Cross Country and Track coach at St. John the Baptist D.H.S. You can probably figure out that running is a major part of my life.
I look forward to sharing with the blog the many different aspects of running. I’ll share personalized sneaker reviews, team news, running news, photos, videos and much more. Without further ado my first Sayville Running Blog.

Arch Type: Medium
Miles a Week: 85-100
Years Running: 11

Occupation: Running Nut
Sneaker: Saucony Grid Tangent 4
Category: Lightweight Stability Sneaker
Purpose(s): As a workout and racing sneaker
Silkyness Rating: 9.0 out of 10
Reasoning: The Grid Tangent 4 was highly anticipated by the SRC staffers and the Grid Tangent 4 has delivered without disappointment. It feels featherlight while providing just the right amount of stability. Saucony has truly out down themselves. When I put them on the first time, I was blown away by the way it slid right on and fit like a glove. After taking them on a running tour of Bayport I can say that the Tangent 4 is silky* smooth.
I have had my fair share of lightweight stability trainers and I can say with the most confidence that it is the best that I have owned. If you are looking for a lightweight trainer and have a medium arch with mild over pronation I would highly recommend you try on the Saucony Grid Tangent 4. You will not be disappointed by the way the sneaker feels.

*Silky refers to the term that the SRC Staffers use to describe the way a sneaker fits and feels while one is running in it.
